SHE ASKS… but what?

What is value? What is the difference between value and worth? And can memories connect strangers?

SHE ASKS is a socially sustainable project using objects and accessories to create empathy initiated by artist and designer Lise van Wersch. Made for all seasons, all genders and without restrictions. With an annually changing socio-critical topic and a drastic reduced product range SHE ASKS forms a platform for the exchange of ideas, questions and an ongoing development. In order to avoid social questions from a theoretical perspective interviews are held with activists, opponents, or those otherwise involved. The aim of the interviews is to collect memories about what is truly valuable. Those memories are translated into the launching objects and become a bridge of empathy between consumers and social issues and those marginalized.
